The Story
From control to connection
I started riding when I was eight years old, and like many people, I was taught the traditional way. For a long time I believed that controlling a horse and making it do what I wanted was simply how it was done.
As I grew older, something in me changed. I became more aware of what I was doing with the horse and, more importantly, of how the horse was feeling. What truly mattered to me was being in nature together, riding freely, walking side by side, and finding a different kind of relationship based on trust.
“What changed everything for me was learning that connection does not grow through force. It grows through listening.”
Later, I met people who opened my eyes to a more respectful way of being with horses. Through them, I discovered natural horsemanship, liberty work, and the beauty of simply being present with a horse. That experience stayed with me and slowly became the foundation of Intuitive Listening.
Today, the sanctuary is home to five horses and the dogs who share this place with us. Not all of their stories are fully told here yet, but each one has its own path, character, and way of teaching patience, presence, and respect.
It is a quiet place in nature where I offer mindful riding and horse-guided sessions, and where people can meet the animals in a different way. With more awareness, more calm, and more connection.
